SHOUT OUT! to Kenjai The Booty Goddess and the London Burlesque Festival on her International tour!
Date Posted:21 May 2017
We are following the adventures of Kenjai Meenakanit aka Goddess of the Heavenly Booty of Australian Burlesque this week as she sails though Northern Hemisphere on her International tour of the European Burlesque Festivals in Crystal Queen Bling!
Kenjai is a truly exciting performer who has accumulated a plethora of titles including:
- State Winner of Burlesque Idol Aus 2016
- Miss Sou' West 2015
- Miss Illustrated Pinup Australia 2014
- 2014 Miss Illustrated Pinup Australia
- 2014 Miss Illustrated Pinup Western Australia
- 2014 runner up Australian Tattoo and Body Expo Pinup Comp Perth
She is currently featuring in the London Burlesque Festival, and in a few days time, the Galway Burlesque Festival before coming back to prepare for the 2017 Australian Burlesque Festival.
And, we're pleased that she is wearing some of our work - crystal embellished outfits and custom designs including a bra and knicker set.
Before the rebrand into Crystal Queen, Kenjai approached our Designer Lindsay for two bespoke costumes to be designed and handmade. The first was an oriental inspired design in pale blue and pink satin fabric with hidden compartment from which silk can be pulled and danced with.
The second was a Booty Goddess costume, designed by Kenjai to be worn over her crystalled nude suit and with isis wings. Lindsay created the heavily beaded bra and knicker and the golden isis panel skirt. The straps are embellished with clear DMC, SS20n non hotfix, flatback crystals.
Crystal touch-ups on tour:
Leading up to the tour, Kenjai desired more sparkle so we supplied her with some bags of DMC flatback , non - hotfix crystals in the Light Colorado Topaz colour as it matches the bronze elements of the costume. She did the extra BLINGING herself.
We love a good Facebook review!
